“Like any other domain, chasing growth in the realm of social media needs a deep dive into consumer behavior. In this case it meant understanding audience behavior through analytics” says co-founder Palash.
“Numbers take guesswork out of the process when it comes to deciding content strategies. That’s how creativity and commerce align. It sounds boring but this process and discipline is key” Palash credits his Finance and Accounting experience in Australia for the grounding.
“Social media is a fast-changing environment. Something that is trending today may be out of vogue by the end of the week. Keeping up with trends is important” adds Kaushambi. Voompla serves over 500 million impressions every month across multiple social media platforms. The team has collaborated with agencies and brands like Reliance Entertainment, Amazon Prime, Taco Bell, Lay’s and Mahindra & Mahindra among others for their marketing campaigns.
Breaking entertainment news has hooked not just the 7 million plus followers, but Voompla is also followed by some Bollywood’s biggest names including Ekta Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Malaika Arora, Manish Malhotra, Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan to name a few.
