Four years back, Lakshay started his YouTube channel and a year later he started making roast videos. Since then, he has been in controversies many a times. Initially he used do very blunt roasting but at that time his subscriber count was less so it did not bothered anyone then, but now he has a huge audience and it has been seen in recent times that he was in controversies because of his old videos. Recently, he has roasted some of the female stand-up comedians and called them unfunny and he himself has been called misogynist, sexist several times. But he has also mentioned it several times that “if the female creators are saying such things for a man they call it comedy and if we are doing it then they call us misogynist, sexist and what not”. According to him, nowadays it is very easy for the youth to fall for this social media trap and he wants to make people aware of the fact that what they see on social media is not what it actually is. Along with his humor he is giving content which is realistic and based on facts.

He has been in controversies when he pointed out some of the videos of various creators and called their content cringe. He believes that there are so many underrated creators who are not getting the amount of attention which they should get and some are there whose content is not even content but doing well.
