Very few inspirational stories show us the clear difference between normalcy and legends. Such stories often begin with, “Oh! I read it everywhere…” or “I am hearing about this everywhere….” One such story happens to be of Apoorv Arora, an award-winning Producer, Filmmaker, and CEO of Apoorv Arora Films LLC in Los Angeles, California.

His journey from his hometown, Ambala, India, to Los Angeles, USA, wasn’t just about boarding a flight from India to the USA; instead, it was a hard journey starting right from dreaming to making it happen in reality. Mapping out the right path to reach his goal was a significant step. He did his master's in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles.

To be a pharaoh of films or the ruling monarch of this industry, he needs to be perfect in his work, and that is why he very carefully hand-picked his team- for which the word talented also falls short. His company, Apoorv Arora Films LLC, founded in 2021, is always centred on his creativity in his life & work, which is why every project he undertakes is very special to him. As a Creative and Assistant Director, he started his professional journey with Balaji Telefilms in 2015. Since then, the doors to reach his goal finally opened. He worked with Walt Disney, India, Yash Raj Films, White Hill studios, and MTV, where he produced and co-produced music videos and TV shows. He has also worked with one of the biggest music labels in India, Speed Records. He produced more than 40 music videos, and each of these videos has crossed 400 million views already.

He started to have faith in his work, his own words, and his will. Because he believed in himself and his creativity, he stepped into the world of Hollywood. He worked with the nation’s biggest corporations, brands, and film companies. He assimilated the entire United States of America through his creative expression. He undertook some significant projects like 2019’s “Frozen 2 Commercial” with Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra under the Disney India label, “Blue Butterfly” by Danny Zee, “Putt Jatt Daa” by Diljit Dosanjh, “Guddiya Patole” by Vijay Kumar Arora, “Lamberghini” by Doorbeen, “Patiala Peg” by Diljit Dosanjh, “Kaun Hoyega” from the movie Qismat by Ammy Virk, “Gaal Ni Kadni” by Parmish Verma, “Mann Bahrrya” by B Praak and many more. In 2020, the music video “Hurt” by Tarah Who?” was nominated for a Grammy in the best rock performance category.

Apoorv’s fame rose from his recognition of creativity and most profound experience, including various short films, music videos, commercials and promo videos for famous Bollywood and Hollywood stars. The list consists of Priyanka Chopra, Austin Mahone, Bohemia, Diljit Dosanjh, J.Breckenridge (Blacklist, US sitcom), Preity Zinta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ammy Virk, B Praak, Mankirat Aulakh, Parmish Verma, Jassie Gill, Sidhu Moose Wala, Ash Gupta, 838 Media Group, Sir Boyò and The Boyò Collective, and many more.

His major works include a music video that he produced called, ‘‘Olorun Maje” (God Forbid in English) by Sir Boyò, a Fashion show for the 53rd NAACP Image Awards in the US, an Indo-American Short film, Bageecha and the film, The Sacred Bees which are currently under post-production.

Besides his work, sports cars also have- the dashing Apoorv’s heart. He drives a brand new 2022 Mercedes Benz and expects to see Porsche and Ferrari in his house very soon. He also plans to buy a home in LA soon!

Apoorv says, “I wish the world to hear a lot about me, and not just from me. What keeps me going is the feeling that I can touch millions of lives with my work; the feeling of giving light to those who want it badly is beautiful.”
