Srijit Mukherji’s crime thriller series, Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke is set to premiere on ZEE5 Global on January 26. The story emphasizes the selfless dedication and unwavering sacrifices made by officers in uniform. It shows how they deal with a lot of stress in their daily lives, including taking up demanding tasks, tough operations, personal struggles, and more. The show revolves around Kavya, an IPS officer. She is spontaneous, devoted and head-on with all of her missions. Kavya gets appointed as the lead investigator in an ISIS-K bomb attack case, where her psychological strength is put to test. However, determined to protect her country, she keeps on fighting.
Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke is a thriller series filmed in Meghalaya's stunning and desolate terrains. The web series is based on true events and is sure to keep viewers glued to their screens. Also starring Regina Cassandra, Barun Sobti, Sumeet Vyas, Mita Vashisht, and Chandan Roy in prominent roles, Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke will premiere this Independence Day.
Speaking about the show, director Srijit Mukherji said, "Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke is an unrestrained creation of female officers' bravery and valour. This show was created with the intention of capturing the unforgiving nature of the military or the police. It is a tribute to all of the police officers who have displayed courage, tenacity, and leadership in equal measure.”
Actor Regina Cassandra, who plays Kavya, reportedly said, "I am thrilled to be part of Srijit Mukherji's series. We finished filming this crime thriller in four incredibly picturesque Indian states, which gave it the necessary rawness. For me, donning the IPS officer uniform was a bizarre experience. This ranks among the strongest characters I have ever played. Officers have many hats to wear, and I think Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke really captures that. I count it a blessing that I can see myself in khaki. I'm happy to be a part of this show, which will premiere soon on ZEE5 Global."

The thriller series, as seen in the trailer, tells the story of a brave IPS officer, Kavya Iyer, who battles militants and restores the common man's faith in the law. The eight-episode series, produced by Juggernaut Productions, is based on real heroes in uniform. It focuses on the challenges officers must overcome in order to carry out their responsibilities for the country and is based on true events.
Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke is an apt tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of Indian forces serving the nation and will be available to stream in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
