India, 11th May 2023: With the nascent practices of blending traditional teaching with innovative pedagogy, JIMS Kalkaji has taken two initiatives, i.e. The JIMS talks and The TANK Tales.

‘The JIMS TALKS- Learn from the finest journeys’, a talk show started by one of the Top Business Schools in India- JAGANNATH INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT SCHOOL, KALKAJI, NEW DELHI. It is an initiative by a student of JIMS Kalkaji, Deepak Panchal. The show seeks to motivate students and other participants by inviting accomplished individuals from diverse fields highlighting the journeys of unicorns built from scratch. Till now we had on our show the Founder of DaurCom, and Bliss Foundation Mr. Utkarsh Gupta; Mr. Amit Malhotra, founder - McCoy Mart; IAS Mr. Abhishek Singh an entrepreneur and a social activist; Mr. Ramani Iyer- Co-founder of Just Dial Ltd.; Mr. Deep Bajaj, founder of SIRONA Hygiene who came to unite with us to share their magnificent insights. In the last episode, we had one of the eminent personalities, Mr. Prashant Pitti, Co-founder - EaseMyTrip. He shared that we must find ways to put ourselves under pressure even if we become a legend. His anecdotes will really help our students with their future endeavours.

‘The TANK Tales: Beyond the tank’ is a series which is run under the aegis of CII YUVA Chapter of Delhi. It is an initiative of Shivani Gupta, a student of JIMS, Kalkaji through which the Institute invites startup founders from the famous show Shark Tank India. The series provides a platform for the students to interact with the most brilliant minds for their mentorship and strategic guidance. Chapter 1 of the series commenced with an interaction with Ms. Parina and Ms. Punya Chugh, the founders of Midnight Angels by PC who shared how Shark Tank boosted their personal popularity and was a game changer for them. The students also had a glorious opportunity of interacting with Ms. Aakriti and Ms. Poonam Rawal, the founders of House of Chikankari and Mr. Mukul Chhabra, the founder of Scrap Uncle who shared how the show helped in building a solid growth trajectory for them. Lately, the students of JIMS, Kalkaji had an honour to meet Mr. Pranav Bajaj, the co-founder of Medulance who got funded by 3 Sharks on the show. Addressing the queries of the students, he shared how they can get a chance to expose their business ventures to a network of fellow startup founders and venture capitalists. The series plans to bring the founders of Unstop (Dare to compete), Perfora, The Simply Salad, Twisting Scoops and many such startup founders on board. The TANK Tales inspires aspiring entrepreneurs to gain visibility & access funding. With the continued success of this series, JIMS, Kalkaji expects to see more innovation and entrepreneurship in their students in the times to come.
