A Zirakpur man has been booked for allegedly posting obscene pictures of a 30-year-old married woman on a pornographic website. The complainant, who hails from Punjab, has claimed that Arvind Kumar morphed her face on obscene pictures and posted them online, and the matter came to light after her relatives saw these.

Police said 30-year-old Arvind Kumar had come in contact with the woman and her husband, who deal in emigration opportunities, about two months ago. When the couple asked for some documents to send him abroad, he allegedly gave them forged papers, at which they refused to process his case.

Arvind, who was jobless, thus got vindictive, clicked some pictures of the woman and uploaded after morphing them.

The police registered a case under the IT Act on August 5, and search is on for Arvind. Barely a week ago, UT police arrested a computer instructor for uploading objectionable pictures of a student on video-sharing sites.
