BDPOs to administer oath

Punjab rural development and panchayat minister Surjit Singh Rakhra announced on Monday that block development and panchayat officers (BDPOs) would administer the oath of office to left-out sarpanches and panches. Chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal recently concluded a tour to Punjab for administering the oath to panches and sarpanches.
