The Haryana Human Rights Commission (HHRC) will organise a seminar to sensitise revenue officials on human rights in Gurgaon on August 29.
Chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would be the chief guest on the occasion and HHRC chairperson justice Vijender Jain would preside over the function, an official spokesperson said. Chief minister's additional principal secretary KK Khandelwal, additional chief secretary (revenue) Krishan Mohan, Punjab and Haryana high court judge justice Nawab Singh and other prominent speakers would participate in the panel discussion.
The spokesperson said the discussion would be held on the role of revenue officers in transparent and responsive administration, good governance and ethics in the district administration, and problems and remedies in the implementation of human rights in day-to-day functioning by revenue officials.
