Indian National Student Organization (INSO), a student wing of Indian National Lok Dal on Monday released its manifesto for the upcoming student council elections.
National president, INSO, Digvijay Singh Chautala on Monday released the party's election manifesto at PU campus, wherein, the party promised violence free campus and said that it would press in for more hostel facility on nominal charges to students and improvement of libraries.
The student wing has also promised to take steps for installation of electronic notice board, organisation of job fests, sports fairs, besides others.
The party manifesto also promised to take up issue of representation to students in senate, establishment of online grievance cell, 50 per cent reservation to PU students in jobs in PU affiliated colleges.
Besides, it would also advocate for right to reject all the candidates, if a student did not like the candidates for any post. The national president, said that the party may fight the elections on its own.
“As of now, we have not decided on any alliance,” he said. The party also carried out a rally at Student Centre which was addressed by Digvijay Singh Chautala.
