Jangveer takes over Sukhbir's media adviser

Jangveer Singh, a noted journalist who recently resigned from the post of principal correspondent, The Tribune, on Tuesday joined as media adviser to Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal in the presence of the latter, revenue and public relations minister Bikram Singh Majithia and jails and cultural affairs minister Sarwan Singh Phillaur.

Jangveer Singh, a noted journalist who recently resigned from the post of principal correspondent, The Tribune, on Tuesday joined as media adviser to Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal in the presence of the latter, revenue and public relations minister Bikram Singh Majithia and jails and cultural affairs minister Sarwan Singh Phillaur.

Speaking on the occasion, Sukhbir said Jangveer's appointment would be instrumental in taking the government's message to the people through the media.

Jangveer was recently appointed in the rank of minister of state.
