Suicide on Facebook Live: Delhi Police suspend 3 cops booked for abetment

The Delhi police have suspended three of its cops booked for abetting the suicide of Sonepat techie Deepak Kumar, who had live-streamed himself hanging to death on his Facebook page on Saturday.
The three suspended cops have been identified as head constable Usha Bose, and assistant sub-inspectors Suresh Vats and Arvind Kumar.
In his suicide note scribbled on the wall of his room, Kumar had blamed the three cops of harassment.
He had written that Usha and Suresh had been threatening to kill him for the last six months after he had informed about their illicit relationship to Usha’s husband.
Sonepat city SHO Ajay Malik said the three accused cops were absconding and constant raids were being carried out to nab them.
“We have met DCP special cell of the Delhi police. He told us that they have suspended the accused and have asked them to surrender to join the investigation. From our side, we are conducting raids in Delhi and Haryana every day. We are positive of making their arrest very soon,” he said.
