Set in a poverty stricken village, the play depicts the penury of scores of working men, women and children, who are subjected to all kinds of harassment, exploitation and suppression by the influential contractor, Patel.

Patel denies them their basic needs and forces them to work for minimum wages, while greasing the palms of the administration for personal benefits.

However, a minor incident makes Patel realise the power of labourers in the society.

Actors Rishab Shar ma, Rajesh, jyoti, Sachin, Shanti, Priya, Savota, Shweta, Vishnu and others essay their roles convincingly and make the production meaningful. The live musical by Munna Dhiman and Sachin Bhatt, the brilliance behind the creation of jhuggis with Rikshwas on stage and the lights effects by Charkesh and Jaspal Singh augment the production level.
