UT’s electric vehicle policy: Incentives for first 10 startups ensuring zero-emission mobility
To promote research and innovation in electric mobility, the UT administration under its electric vehicle policy will be providing a slew of incentives to the first ten startups promising zero-emission mobility. On the recommendation of the Chandigarh Renewal Energy and Science and Technology Promotion Society, a provision has been made to provide infrastructure incentives and patent fees to promising start-ups in the UT's EV Policy. Chandigarh Transport Undertaking will also only purchase electric buses.
