Jalandhar-based couple shot dead in Philippine capital Manila

A Punjabi couple living in the Philippines were found shot dead on Saturday night. The deceased, Sukhwinder Singh, 41, and his wife Kirandeep Kaur, 33, were killed by an unidentified assailant. CCTV footage showed the assailant entering their house and firing multiple shots at Sukhwinder before shooting Kirandeep at point blank. The family of the deceased couple is now seeking help from Indian authorities to take up this matter with its counterpart in the Philippines.
