Mumbai: The Crime Branch on Thursday arrested two alleged bookies for betting on an ongoing IPL match between Rajasthan and Kolkata teams. Investigations revealed that the accused had access to user IDs and passwords of two betting websites.
Two arrested for betting on IPL match
The arrested persons have been identified as Santosh Amit Yadav, 36, and Anjapa Gopal Darari, 35. Authorities have issued notices to them, and they are currently being interrogated to uncover links to a larger betting syndicate.
