ENGLAND TAKE LEAD! The visitors have finally taken a lead, implying Australia will have to bat. But how much can the tail end add?

WICKET: GONE! Australia are motoring towards a win here. Hazlewood gets Buttler to offer a huge nick to Carey and England are 7 down for 268, still behind Australia by 10 runs. Will this last till lunch, which is 20 minutes away?

WICKET: OUT! England are 6 down. Cummins comes on and squares up Stokes, who edged the ball to Green at gully. Huge wicket as Stokes goes. England still trail by 12.

FOUR: A second boundary for Stokes. Crashes it through the covers off Starc

FOUR: Goes for it. Slog sweeps Lyon and into the boundary she goes.

FOUR: Buttler brings out the reverse sweep. He played positively in the first innings and boy, wouldn't England want something similar, or probably a lot more from him?

WICKET: Another one falls on Day 4. Ollie Pope tried to cut Nathan Lyon but edges it to first slip where Steve Smith completes the catch. The wheels now beginning to come off. England still trail as Australia move closer to a 1-0 lead.

FOUR: Nice, positive start from Ollie Pope, who flicks the ball away for a four through the leg side. Half-volley and it deserved to be put away

WICKET: Oh no! Huge blow for England as skipper Root departs. Comes forward to defend but the ball moves just about enough to take the edge and into Alex Carey's gloves. Australia on the prowl, England a bit bothered now.

FOUR: Ben Stokes off the mark with a boundary. Short of length ball and Stokes goes on to the backfoot to guide the ball through gully.

WICKET: OUT! Nathan Lyon you beauty. Gary finally gets his 400th Test wicket, ending an over 300-day long wait. A huge wicket to finally get rid of this massive partnership worth 162 runs. Malan steps out of the crease but finds himself no room to free his arms. Tries to defend it and the ball lobs in the air for the fielder at silly mid off to take the catch. What a moment for The Australian GOAT.
