Oh, dear! You will never see anything like that!  A total of four attempted throws and twice the batters get an additional run and three runs in total and that is very ordinary from Gujarat. Back of a length over the stumps, Natalie Sciver-Brunt works it off the back foot to mid-wicket and gets a single. There is a direct hit at the keeper's end and the ball deflects away as the batters pick up an extra run but then there is another wide throw which doesn't cost an extra run as the batters set off but decide against it. But on that attempted run, one more wide throw is fired in and eventually they do get one more run. Pheww!

FOUR! A valiant effort in the deep but it goes in vain. Short of a length on middle and angling in, Natalie Sciver-Brunt with a short-arm pull off the back foot and she gets it in between deep square leg and deep mid-wicket. It is Meghna Singh who puts in the dive to her left but the ball gets deflected past the other fielder and into the ropes.

This is a real drag-down from Kanwar and bowled over middle and leg, there to be put away. Matthews rocks back and has the option to pull it anywhere she wants but she hits it flat and straight down the throat of Ashleigh Gardner at deep mid-wicket. Another slim outing for Matthews.

Top effort in the deep from Sneh Rana. Floated full and on middle and leg, Hayley Matthews thumps it over the bowler's head and Rana runs across to her left from long on and puts in the dive to save a couple of runs for her side.

A wicket-maiden to start with from Kathryn Bryce and that is excellent bowling. Just shortens the length a bit and bowls it over middle and off, Natalie Sciver-Brunt looks to pull off the back foot but hits it down to mid-wicket.

Hard length attacking the top of off stump, Yastika Bhatia takes the front leg out of the way and looks to bludgeon it over mid off but only gets the height and not distance timing on it. Veda Krishnamurthy takes a few steps back and takes a good catch and Gujarat do get an early wicket.
