    6:11 PM IST Earlier, after being sent in to bat, Islamabad United got off to a flying start with a brilliant 153-run opening partnership between Sahibzada Farhan and Alex Hales. A quick cameo from Shadab Khan pushed the total to a daunting 251. Shadab then took centre stage with the ball, running through the Karachi batting lineup with crucial support from his teammates.
    6:10 PM IST The Kings didn’t help their cause, with multiple lapses in the field, conceding far too many runs. Chasing 204 to retain second place, they started well through David Warner and Tim Seifert. But after Seifert’s dismissal, the momentum quickly shifted, and the innings fell apart. A brief glimmer of hope came with a 24-run over, but it was a mountain too steep to climb for the lower order.
    6:20 PM IST What a win for Islamabad United! Talk about rising to the occasion, and Islamabad delivered. They have secured the 2nd spot and set up a clash with Quetta Gladiators in the Qualifier, giving them two shots at reaching the final. For the Karachi Kings, it was a night where everything that could go wrong, did. They slip to the 3rd spot and now face Lahore Qalandars in Eliminator 1, with no room for error.
