Overall, a complete performance from Lahore Qalandars. Not just the win will help their morale but the opponents they have beaten will give them extra confidence.

6:37 PM IST Alert! Islamabad United have lost their first game of the season! Chasing more than 200, they needed their openers to flourish but their star batter, Sahibzada Farhan got out cheaply. Andries Gous and Salman Agha tried to rebuild the innings but once they both fell, Lahore Qalandars snatched the game at the neck and buried it without giving any chance to Islamabad United. A rather one-sided affair and for the first time this season, Islamabad United struggled with the bat and have been handed over their first loss of the tournament.
