9:44 AM IST Earlier in the game, Shai Hope won the toss and put the Kiwis into bat. There was plenty of grass on the deck and there was a steady breeze throughout the day that also helped the pacers and Matthew Forde did take advantage of the conditions, picking up two wickets in two deliveries. However, Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell counter-attacked well and put on a 67-run stand to get the game back in the balance. It was a tussle right throughout but Mitchell made the difference with a fine hundred and got his side to a solid total. For West Indies, Jayden Seales picked up three wickets but it was Roston Chase with his economical spell that ket the Kiwis from getting close to the 300-run mark.
