However, a spirited fightback from Avishka Fernando, Dinesh Chandimal, and Faheem Ashraf helped them stage a remarkable recovery and post a daunting total on the board.

An early setback came with the dismissal of Alex Hales, and although Sahibzada Farhan and Rassie van der Dussen looked promising, Quetta kept chipping away and never allowed a substantial stand to develop. The departure of Salman Agha proved to be the final nail in the coffin for United.
