Things might have been even better had Amrinder Gill held on to Ayush Mhatre's catch off the very first ball. Utkarsh Srivastava and Rishabh Shimpi also picked up a wicket each, but USA needed to build on the strong start they made on either side of the rain delay. Even so, this performance will serve as a learning experience, and they will look to use it to challenge some of the bigger teams in the tournament.
