Despite scoring freely in the Power Play, they lost wickets at regular intervals, which hindered their progress. Tanzid Hasan narrowly missed out on a half-century. Mahmudullah's valuable contribution down the order helped Bangladesh post a respectable total, giving their bowlers a chance to level the series. Tanzim Hasan also chipped in with a crucial knock. The West Indies bowlers were exceptional, with Jayden Seales striking thrice early on and four times in total to put Bangladesh on the back foot.
