T20 World Cup 2026 Points Table

Meet the Super 8s of 2026 T20 World Cup! The most decorated team in cricket history is missing though!

The ongoing T20 World Cup is all set to reach the second stage with the Super 8s scheduled to kick off from Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Pakistan's comprehensive 102-run win against Namibia in the penultimate Group A game earlier this week well and truly completed the Super 8 line-ups. Let’s see who all reached the Super 8s, and that if there were any upsets in the group stages.

India and Pakistan qualified from Group A, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe qualified from Group B, West Indies and England from Group C & South Africa and New Zealand from Group D.

This is how Group 1 and Group 2 of the Super 8s line up. India, Zimbabwe, West Indies and South Africa make up Group 1, while Pakistan, New Zealand, England and Sri Lanka make up Group 2.

What, Zimbabwe! How so? Yes, Zimbabwe beat Australia in Group B to orchestrate the exit of the most decorated team in cricket history. The Aussies later lost to Sri Lanka and then the washout between Ireland and Zimbabwe rang in the dreadful news for cricket fans all over the world, not just the Aussies that the Mitchell Marsh’s men were now officially out of the event.

For the first time since 2009, Australia have not made it past the group stages in a 50-overs or 20-overs competition.

Defending champions India kick off their campaign on Super Sunday against South Africa at Ahmedabad. Then they play Zimbabwe on February 26 in Chennai, followed by the West Indies in Kolkata on March 1. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, with the top team of one group playing the second-placed team of the other group. The semifinals will be played on March 4 and 5, with the final set to take place on March 8.

If India go on to win the tournament, they will become the first team in history to win back-to-back T20 World Cup.
