Inspired by Anna Hazare’s movement to battle corruption, a group of people led by Abdul Mujeeb Khan undertook a walk from Kanyakumari all the way to Delhi.

They concluded their march at Rajghat.

“This movement is symbolic of personal honesty and integrity — something that will help fight corruption in India. Unless we are custodians of personal integrity, we cannot hope for large scale corrective action,” said Vinit Taneja, who works with Abdul Mujeeb Khan.

The group of around 11 people walked through 10 states and 5,500 kilometres to conclude their walk in Delhi.

The march, Taneja added, would finally conclude on Sunday with all these people assimilating at Jantar Mantar to stand united against corruption and honour it as the “Personal honesty day against corruption”.
