Sought-after courses, such as B.Com (Honours) and Economics (Honours) were closed in all colleges, except five. The cut-off for the course saw a dip of 0.25%. Some colleges, such as PGDAV, saw withdrawal of admissions following the fourth cut-off list and still have vacancies. "We were cautious. So, we closed admissions after the third list. However, following the fourth list, we saw quite a few cancellations. Now, we have approximately 30 seats in B.Com (Honours) and 60 seats in B.Com (Programme)," said SN Kapoor, Principal, PGDAV College.

Five colleges are still offering BA (Programme), while Sanskrit (Honours) is available in 10 colleges. Other language courses, such as Hindi and English (honours) are available in Kirori Mal College (Hindi), Zakir Husain College (English-CATE) and Janki Devi Memorial College (English-CATE).

While most science courses were full, BSc Life Sciences was still open in Daulat Ram College and Sri Ventakeswara College. Deen Dayal Upadhyay still has seats in Electronics (Honours).
