Karandeep was the liveliest boy in his class. Next month, he was even supposed to compere his school's annual function. However, on Monday morning, this bright, young life was cut cruelly short by those he loved and trusted most. Karandeep's parents allegedly killed him before committing suicide themselves.
Karandeep was not only differently-abled but was also suffering from vision impairment. Also, he could not walk properly. However, nothing came in the way of him becoming the best student at the Tamanna Special School, Vasant Vihar, where he studied in class 5.
Shyama Chona, the founder member of the Tamanna Special School said, "Karandeep was one of the most promising and active students in his class.”
She added, “He was a very happy child; even his parents had never shown any signs of depression. He was an affectionate child."
Sources say even Karandeep's parents were reported to have been happy with the progress their differently-abled but very bright son was making at his school.
He went to school with an attendant, who was always by his side.
The police said that the boy had been suffering from dengue for quite some time.
They added that Karandeep's condition could have been the reason behind the Arora family's depression.
Although the exact reason behind Karandeep’s untimely death is not known as of now, police suspect he could have been either poisoned or smothered to death.
