More than 250 students, dressed in colourful attires, staged a musical fairy tale 'Cinderella' under the insightful direction of the headmistress SP Pearlson.
Principal VK Williams presented the annual report highlighting the achievements of the school and the students. Meritorious students in academics and extra-curricular activities were felicitated. The culmination was marked by the vote of thanks to the guests and parents.
Amity International School, Pushp Vihar organised their junior annual day 'Swarnim Dhara' with great exuberance. The event was graced by Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, founder president, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, Dr. Amita Chauhan, chairperson, Amity group of schools and other dignitaries. The programme began with the lamp lighting and welcome address was delivered by Principal Ameeta Mohan. The school choir enthralled the audience with the soulful rendition of the music. Students from 'Atulasha' touched every heart and filled everyone present with a sense of national pride with their song 'Ham Sab Bhartiya Hain'. The evening witnessed a colourful array of dances and musical acts. Dr. Amita Chauhan applauded the efforts of students and teachers.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has launched its international curriculum called CBSE-I to cater to the need of a globally sensitive curriculum among the Indian learners in its schools in India and abroad. Under the aegis of KIIT World School, Pitampura the junior wing held their annual fiesta of performing arts on the school premises. The highlight of the day were the plays 'Faith Conquers All' and 'Rendezvous-Past meets the Present'. Song and dance performances on themes such as 'save trees', 'together we make a better tomorrow's ' and 'Qawali' were presented. Chief guest Anuradha Ramam and the guest of honour Suraj Prakash, educationist, appreciated the performances. Principal Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia proposed the vote of thanks.
