Asking children of the city to say no to firecrackers, Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Sunday said they should celebrate a clean and pollution-free Diwali with earthen lamps, ‘rangoli’ and sweets on November 5.

"Let cracking good times continue without fire-crackers," she said in a message.

"For some years now, we have celebrated clean and pollution free Diwali. Let us, this year too, enjoy Diwali with 'diyas', 'rangoli', sweets and gifts instead of crackers," Dikshit said.
