The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed complaints against four more companies and directors under the foreign exchange management act (Fema).
The ED will also start proceedings under the prevention of money laundering act (PMLA) against Dynamix Realty for attachment of its properties to allegedly pay a bribe of Rs200 crore to Kalaignar TV.
According to sources, ED assistant director Rajeshwar Singh has filed complaints against four more companies and their directors before ED special director Balesh Kumar. These companies include ETA Star (alleged Fema violation of Rs321 crore), Virgin Mobile (alleged Fema violation of Rs100.1 crore), Milkyway Developers (alleged Fema violation of Rs78.64 crore), DB Realty (alleged Fema violation of Rs1,621.5 crore).
Kumar will look into these complaints and issue show-cause notices to these companies and their directors as he did in the case of Etisalat DB.
Five more such complaints are already pending before Kumar in which he is going to issue show-cause notices soon.
These complaints are against- Loop Mobile India Limited, Loop Telecom Limited, S Tel Private Limited, Wellcom Communications India Private Ltd, Wellcom Communications Private Ltd and their directors. So far ED has filed 10 complaints under Fema in the 2G case.
According to sources, the ED will soon start property attachment proceedings against Dynamix Realty, a partnership firm of DB Realty Ltd, for allegedly paying a bribe of R200 crore to Kalaignar TV via some other companies.
