The Central Election Committee (CEC) of the Congress headed by its Chief Sonia Gandhi today finalised the first list of candidates for 40 assembly constituencies in Delhi but will declare it only after Diwali.
"The names of Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, her cabinet colleagues and certain three-time as well two-time MLAs have been shortlisted by the CEC in a meeting held this morning," sources told PTI.
