Weather in the national capital was comparatively comfortable with temperatures slightly higher at 5.4 degree Celsius.

Sunshine broke out after a brief spell of morning fog as temperatures continued to remain below normal.

The night temperature was two degree below normal, the weather office said.

Air traffic remained normal while certain Delhi-bound trains were delayed.

"There was a blanket of fog from 7:10 am to 8:45 am. But after that it was only a thin layer of smog," an official said.
