NEW DELHI: Delhi witnessed a pleasant day on Tuesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 35.6°C, four degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 23.1 °C.
This is the first time over the last fortnight that the temperature was recorded below the 40°C mark.
Rain on Monday and early Tuesday morning brought relief to the Capital but the temperature is expected to rise to 42°C later this week. The weatherman has predicted overcast conditions along with possibility of light rain and thunderstorm in some areas towards Wednesday afternoon and evening.
