From there, the staff rushed her to the Primus Super-Specialty Hospital in south Delhi's Chanakya Puri.

"She was brought to us at around 3.50pm and the preliminary assessment showed multiple injuries in her spine and liver. A team of neurosurgeons and general surgeons operated on her," said a hospital spokesperson.

The three other people injured in the incident, including her driver, were taken to New Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital. All three had sustained minor glass-splinter injuries and were kept under observation in the hospital's emergency after being give the first-aid.

"All three received minor injuries due to the glass shards that had pierced through their skin. The driver had a small cut above the right eye, near the eye-brow; and the other two persons received a minor cut on the cheek and forearm respectively," said Dr TS Sidhu, medical superintendent of the hospital.
