The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation signed an MoU with Delhi Daredevils team owner GMR group to create awareness among travellers on safety and cleanliness issues on Tuesday.
In its campaign, the Delhi Daredevils players will make audio and video presentations on issues related to the Delhi Metro, like usage of smart card, safety and security of passengers during metro train travel and cleanliness of the trains among others.
In view of the upcoming Indian Premier League, the DMRC will also provide five ticketing counters at Metro stations - Barakhamba Road, Netaji Subash Place, Kashmere Gate, Pragati Maidan and Saket to sell tickets for matches being played by Delhi Daredevils from March 28 onward.
A nearly six feet long painted bat will also be at display at the Rajiv Chowk Metro Station for travellers.
