Anna Hazare on Wednesday night appreciated his supporters for carrying on peaceful protests. He said on the ninth day of his fast that the government is hardening its stand.
He also urged his supporters not to stop the police if they came to take him forcibly. He told them to not indulge in violence if he was taken away from Ramlila Maidan. He said that he would not be able to tolerate violence or loss of public property.
Anna also urged his supporters to picket the houses of MPs and begin 'jail bharo andolan' if the police came and took him from Ramlila Maidan.
Before Anna addressed the crowd, Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal said that they had information that police would come to pick Anna Hazare late in the night or early morning.
