Vivekanand School, Anand Vihar organized Edu-Expo, an platform for diverse career opportunities. The Chief Guest was Prof Yashpal, Chancellor of Jawahar Lal Nehru University and the Guest of Honour was Renu Sharma, Deputy Director of Education (East). The school campus played a host to globally acclaimed universities, colleges, and series of inter school competitions, psychometric, aptitude and personality tests . Speakers from IIM-A, Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi Technical University, NDA, and Faculty of Management Studies addressed the possibilities and challenges in the fields of engineering ,medicine , management and allied careers. Prof. Yashpal advised the students to make education synonymous to learning and not information gathering. The School Chairman Y.D. Ahuja, Manager Pradyumn Ahuja, and Principal Sanjana Mahajan presented mementos to the guests.

Gyan Bharati School, Saket organized an inter-school Mathematics Competition: ‘Mathemania’. A host of events were conducted like quiz , model-making etc. The Chief Guest, Pankaj Vajpayee, Director, Achiever’s Academy, the Guest of Honour , Dr. Dhan Prakash and the Director of the school R.C.Shekhar encouraged the students for their performance. The event concluded with address by the Guest of honour, who emphasized on the importance of the 3 C’s – creativity, curiosity and critical thinking.

The Annual Quiz for senior wing was conducted recently in the Claudine Hall at Convent of Jesus and Mary school, Chanakyapuri. Celina Varghese, resource person from HT PACE conducted the event. The questionnaire varied from fields of science , arts and general knowledge. The quiz was an intellectual stimulation for the young minds .There was a tough competition between the four houses. House ENTERPRIZE lifted the trophy by just one point. The event involved everyone , even the non- participating students enjoyed through the audience round.

Ganga International School, Hiran Kudna hosted the Annual Day ‘Tarang ’ to felicitate the high achievers of the academic session 2011-2012.The Chief Guest on the occasion was G.S. Patnaik, Vice-Chairman, Delhi Development Authority and was welcomed by the School Chairman Dr. Sushil Gupta, the Principal Charu Kapoor. The Chief Guest lit the ceremonial lamp followed by the Ganpati The show stopper was the ramp walk which stole the thunder as the Grand Finale , an extravaganza of colours and fast paced energetic choreography. with this colourful fiesta everyone associated with ‘Tarang’ was inspired to further excel in every field.
