Elderly hurt in Snatching bid

A 73-year-old was attacked and dragged for 50m by four bike-borne youth in a snatching attempt in Kirti Nagar area of west Delhi on Monday morning. Police said the victim, identified as Uttami Devi, was going to a nearby temple when she was attacked.

“Devi was stopped by the bikers, one of whom tried to snatch her chain and gold bangles. But when the snatchers failed, they slashed her wrist,” a senior police officer said.
