Author of marketing classics like 'The Battle for your Mind', 'Marketing Warfare' and 'Differentiate or Die', Trout said, India should mobilise a world opinion on the issues with Pakistan.

"It should go to the world community and tell them that we are going to declare peace with Pakistan as it is time. That's the best way to resolve the issue," he said.

Emphasising on healthy relations with the neighbouring countries, he said, "We do maximum business with neighbours. You don't fight with your neighbours, you trade with them and that helps everybody."

He said, more funds should be invested in infrastructure rather than defence.

Trout, who is also the President of the US-based international marketing consultancy firm Trout and Partners, said that bureaucracy is a big hurdle for businesses in India, unlike China.
