Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa today refused to comment on the political situation after the Trinamool Congress announced its decision to withdraw support to the UPA Government.

"I cannot speculate on that. I would confine my comments to the Cauvery River Authority meeting today," she told reporters at the Tamil Nadu House in New Delhi.

She was asked to comment on the political situation and whether Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had the moral authority to continue after the Trinamool decided to withdraw support to this government.
Jayalalithaa is in New Delhi to attend the CRA meeting headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
