Project: To provide open corridor for athletes between Games Village, Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Chhatrasal stadium and practice venue in Civil Lines area. Later, to serve as alternate to Ring Road between ITO and Kashmere Gate ISBT.
Barapullah elevated road
Total length: 3.7 km
Cost: Rs 498 crore
Project: To connect Ring Road near Sarai Kale Khan with Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Will also cut travel time between Games Village and Thyagraj Stadium.
Later, it’ll provide fast connectivity between East, Central and South Delhi. It will help decongest Ashram crossing.
Corridor improvement of up link road
Total Length: 3 km
Cost: Rs 334 crore
Importance: Along with a flyover on NH-24 near the CWG village and cloverleaves on Akshardham Setu, this project will help smooth traffic flow around the Games Village. It involves widening of UP Link road corridor from six to eight lane and construction of grade separators and also construction of an additional four-lane bridge at Hindon Cut Canal on Chilla Regulator.

Cost: Over Rs 300 crore
Importance: This will ensure non-stop entry and exit for participants and officials to the Commonwealth Games village.
