The organisers claim it is a first-of-its-kind initiative by any Ramlila committee across the country.

"We will install this giant screen in the middle of the stage so that more and more people can get a closer look. Not everyone can get a seat in the front row but all present must get to see the grand performance," president of the committee Hari Chandra Aggarwal said.

The organisers, who also share space with the Lav Kush Ram Lila Committee at the Red Fort ground, also said the battle scene between Ram and Ravan will take place 100ft in the air.

"We are also on Facebook and Twitter. For those devotees who are not able to be at the venue can also get live feeds on their mobile phones," another official of the committee said.
