It fielded 11 candidates with some “speciality” in the recent assembly elections in Delhi but all candidates lost their security deposit. Undeterred, the Panthers Party is back in the fray again for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections with its list of “special” candidates.

This time, there is a eunuch, a man who married the same woman six times and Delhi's first female auto-rickshaw driver as probable candidates.

Though their presence will have absolutely no impact on the poll results, it will certainly add some colour to the elections.

"We want at least two women candidates, one eunuch and three Dalit candidates fighting elections on our ticket," said Sanjay Sachdeva, party's Delhi unit president. The party is targeting the youth section, which it widely supported during the Valentines Day celebration, as its voters.
