Pregnant woman murdered in South Delhi

A pregnant woman was found murdered outside a farmhouse at Mehrauli in South Delhi. Police said some morning walkers found the body on Friday morning.

A pregnant woman was found murdered outside a farmhouse at Mehrauli in South Delhi. Police said some morning walkers found the body on Friday morning. The police have not been able to identify the victim.

Police said the woman’s body bore several laceration marks and blood had oozed out of her nose and mouth. The body was transferred to AIIMS mortuary for post-mortem.

Police said there were no stab injuries on the body. They suspect the woman was murdered somewhere else and her body was dumped in Mehrauli.

Police officials said there was no reason to believe the woman had been raped as she was found fully clothed and there were no injuries on her private parts. A murder case has been registered in Mehrauli police station.
