The raging anger of Delhiites has finally caught the attention of the city's police force, that is now coercing many to visit psychiatrists or counsellors to talk out their anger issues.
After people killed over non-issues like not giving a screwdriver or not selling curd, the police have now decided to ask their officers to take various steps in the matter.
"Now we have decided to ask our men to tell such people to get either professional help or even talk about their anger problems with someone," said a senior police officer on condition of anonymity.
"From time to time, Delhi Police and jail authorities refer people to us. Anger management is about dealing with anger in a more acceptable form and not get physical in approach, such as turning violent or harming oneself," said Rajat Mitra, director, Swanchetan Society for Mental Health.
