A third-year engineering student and his friend died after their bike hit a speeding truck near Vasundhara in Ghaziabad on Saturday morning, police said.

The truck overturned crushing Gaurav Sharma (22) and Rahul Sinha (24).

“They were taken to Vasundhara Hospital where they were declared dead,” said Indirapuram Station Officer Rajesh Dwivedi.
The truck-driver and his helper fled the spot after the incident.
