Wondering what your new college is like or where you can go for a quick bite? A website called www.dujugaad.com launched by six students will answer all your queries allied with college life.
The website, launched with a logo "100 kaam ek naam, solutions ka baap", aims to provide all essential information to the freshers.
One of the co-creators of the website, Ashish Kumar, who is pursuing Statistics Honours from Ramjas College said, "We faced a lot of problems when we entered college. So we came up with this idea to help the freshers."
The website gives details about history of the various colleges in North Campus. Once you log on to the website, you will get various options like accommodations, tiffin services, body care, cyber zones, food outlets, maps, medical, vehicle care, electronics care, ATMs, stationery shops, dry cleaners, photo studios, mobile repairs and recharge and courier service. "Our website will help the students at every step in college life," said Kumar.
This website will be there even after the admissions are over. There is a column called news which will carry the daily happenings in various colleges. As a result, information about all the nearby colleges will only be a click away.
"We have friends in all the colleges. We will update the news about freshers' party, inter-college functions and the other happenings in the colleges for the students," Kumar said.
Soon, the six plan to launch a 'Jugaad club' for the students. If you become a member of this club, you can get discounts in various shops in Kamala Nagar.
"We have already spoken to many shop owners and they are ready to give a discount to the club members", Kumar said.
