A fire broke out at the building of Punjab and Sindh Bank at Rajendra Place in New Delhi on Wednesday evening, officials said.

The blaze was reported at 10.06pm and around 25 fire tenders are working to douse it, they said.

The fire erupted at the fourth floor of the 12-storeyed building and was yet to be extinguished.

Nobody was present in the building when the flames erupted, said a fire official.

The cause of fire would be known only after it is doused, he added.
