A Delhi court on Friday extended the police custody of former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda, accused in the Geetika Sharma suicide case, by three days.
The police, which sought Kanda's remand for seven more days, told the court that they needed to recover three mobile phones, which were registered in the names of Geetika and two other employees but were being used by Kanda.
They said the missing hard-disk from Kanda's computer and two booklets of his passport also needed to be recovered.
Kanda's counsel alleged copies of Geetika's alleged suicide note and post-mortem report were leaked to the press.
He claimed though Kanda was being interrogated by several men but case diary mentions the investigating officer only.
