Left won’t pull the plug, feels BJP
Opposition leader LK Advani has asked his party MPs to visit their constituencies soon to gear up for a mid-term poll, reports Shekhar Iyer.
Leader of Opposition L.K. Advani asked the party MPs to visit their constituencies soon after the monsoon session of Parliament to gear up for a mid-term poll though many BJP leaders did not see the Left actually pulling down the government.

“Elections can happen anytime,” BJP’s deputy leader V.K. Malhotra quoted Advani as saying at the BJP’s parliamentary party meeting on Thursday.
Advani said uncertainty about the UPA government’s stability would never end whether or not the Left withdrew support to it over the 123 agreement.
Other BJP leaders said they did not think that a no-trust move was a good idea as it would bring the Left and the UPA together again.
Malhotra accused the Congress of attempts to trigger Hindu-Muslim riot ahead of Gujarat assembly elections, saying party chief Sonia Gandhi's asking Maharashtra government to act on Srikrishna Commission report on 1993 communal violence in Mumbai was prompted by vote bank politics.
